Life is filled with unexpected events. It’s so important to be prepared for incidentals that put our lives and well-being at risk. These unfortunate incidents can cause serious personal injuries and disrupt your quality of life. Take the time to create an emergency plan for your family. Who should they call first? What type of legal representation would you prefer? Where can they locate funds allotted for emergency situations? It’s imperative to implement these plans because we never know what tomorrow may bring.
Very rarely do we see the danger of an accident heading toward us but that’s exactly what Darryl Pham saw. He was a victim aboard the Oakland ferry boat when it endured a minor accident.
“I kind of saw it coming. A lot of people didn’t, and it just hit the pylon and I saw kids flying, and it was pretty bad,” Pham told ABC station KGO-TV in San Francisco.
The injuries associated with this accident were minor but the outcome could have been much worse. That’s why we recommend outlining emergency plans for unforeseen incidents of a personal injury. Having this plan in pace can greatly reduce the stress experienced in crisis situations.
